Completed Project Photography
Once construction is complete, the focus shifts from recording progress to presenting the finished project at its best. Completed project photography captures the design, materials, craftsmanship and relationship between the building and its setting.
I plan each shoot around the strongest light, key elevations and important architectural details. As a result, your team can use the final image set across websites, portfolios, award entries, press releases, tenders and social media.
Where a project includes significant internal spaces, I can combine the exterior coverage with professional interior photography to create a complete visual record of the development.

Construction sites rarely stand still. Therefore, I plan each shoot around access, working areas, completed stages and the wider programme. Before arriving, I coordinate with the relevant site contact to confirm timings, priorities and any restrictions.
Where possible, I photograph important stages before the team covers, occupies or alters them. This approach works particularly well for structural work, specialist installations, external finishes and detailed craftsmanship.
I work with a measured and practical approach on site. The aim is to capture the required images efficiently, follow site procedures and keep disruption to a minimum.
Coverage can include wider progress views, architectural relationships, materials, workmanship and details requested by the project team. This creates a consistent record of the build rather than a series of disconnected site photographs.
For completed developments, I also plan around weather, natural light, landscaping and final presentation. As a result, the shoot produces a stronger image set for handover, portfolios, awards, press and future marketing.

Can you photograph people working on site?

Do you need a site induction?
I follow the access and safety procedures required for each site. This may include an induction, signing in, wearing appropriate PPE and working with an appointed site contact during the visit.
How far in advance should a construction shoot be booked?
Completed project shoots are best booked once the likely completion date is clear. Progress visits may require less notice, although early planning helps secure suitable dates around the site programme, access and weather.
